We have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Assistant to become part of our small, close-knit commercial team, supporting a varied portfolio of contracts across the business.
This is a great opportunity for someone with an analytical mindset who enjoys working with data, identifying trends and understanding the story behind the numbers. You may come from a finance, accountancy, data management or commercial background and be looking for a role where you can develop your skills and build a long-term career.

As one of our Commercial Assistants, you will be:
Undertaking cost value analysis across reactive works and planned schemes
Analysing commercial data, identifying trends and highlighting opportunities for cost savings
Supporting risk, value management and cost control activities across our contracts
Assisting with the change control process, including capturing, notifying and valuing variations and contractual claims
Supporting procurement activity, including cost analysis and the procurement of subcontractors
Valuing works using our management systems and supporting client invoicing and payment applications
Assisting with subcontractor payments
Monitoring WIP, debt and cashflow and supporting proactive cash collection
Working across approximately 5–8 commercial contracts, giving you exposure to a varied workload and different areas of the business
You'll ideally have:
We are looking for someone who is naturally analytical, organised and comfortable working with data, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to look beyond the numbers to identify trends, patterns and potential issues. You will have experience or a background in data management, finance, accountancy or a similar analytical role, along with strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. As the role will involve travel to other FM Conway locations, you will also need to hold a full UK driving licence.
